MONDAY'S PHOTO OF THE WEEK

I am a little disappointed because I wanted to get some really nice pics to share with you on my first Monday of the week photo post, but it didn't work out so well. On Saturday Alex and I decided that we would go for a bit of a scenic drive out to the country area to go up a mountain. I thought I could get some nice pics to share with you while we were there, but as we started up the mountain the car started over heating so badly that we could even hear the water in the engine bubbling. We both went into a mad panic and quickly found a safe place to pull over. It didn't look good, we were an hour from home, in the middle of the country, and it was a public holiday. We needed to get home so we turned on the heating vents to full power to try and release some of the hot air in the engine, and all though we got blasted with really hot air all the way home we did make it home. By the time we got home we were dehydrated and upset that our day trip was ruined. I did however get a couple of shots out the window on our way home, but I apologise that they aren't any better.

Oh Michelle so sorry to hear that your drive to the country got ruined. :(
Happy that you made it back home safely even though you were dehydrated. Hope you are better now. The scenery is lovely there.

So sorry that you little trip turned out that way but glad you got home safe and sound and not stranded. Hope the car isn't going to need expensive repairs. Nice shots out the window, I know how hard that is and you did get some good ones.

I'm so glad you both made it home okay, Shell! I think the pics are pretty.....it looks like it would have been a lovely scenic drive despite the car trouble. I hope it's not going to be too expensive to repair though.

love,
Mum xo

Hi Michelle,

I love the photos from your drive for last week's photo! That's terrible that the car started playing up on you and Alex. Oh well, hopefully next time you'll get to go up the mountain!

Love Brad!
