I'M ALL SET

Today I bought all the things I need to begin my journey through the book 'The Artist's Way' by Julia Cameron. Some of you may know this book and have even worked through it. This will be my first time and I am so excited to be doing it.

It is basically a course in discovering and re-discovering your creative self. It is a great book if you have that dreaded artist's block or would just like to expand yourself and open your self up more creatively.

Robyn has set up this new blog specifically for a group of us who will be working through this book together. Anyone who would like to be involved in working through this book with us is welcome to join. All you have to do is let Robyn know that you would like to join us by dropping her an email, and she will add you to the list of participants. We will begin the 12 week course from August, 19.

What a brilliant way to join together. Thank you for placing a link I could visit another beautiful place. Michelle, I am so honored that you are inspired to draw and paint angels. Any of your art is wonderful, I love your cute faces so much and know what ever you create will be awesome!

How exciting for you.
Someone gave me this book many years ago and I recall finding it fascinating. I believe it is stored in my garage with many other lovelies I have been ignoring.

Michelle..thanks for posting about this. I have decided to join the project as well. I am a self-taught artist, too, and have been looking for some inspiration to get back into my art after battling some tough health issues, etc.

Hope you can join me on my new blog. I could use all the encouragement right now! :)
