ANOTHER PAINTING

Here is another painting I have just finished today. I am really liking painting on the black background and using the black as the outline. I think it really high lights areas. I also like using the technique of gluing tissue paper onto the canvas to give it texture and movement.

This is done on an 8"x10" flat canvas

This is very striking, lovely work!! I have recently started painting onto a black background and it's amazing how it makes you approach things differently. I've haven't tried tissue paper on canvas though what a great idea!!

Thanks Nicola, yeah I love working with the black background. You should try the tissue paper it is realy good and gives it great texture.
